Elliot walked back into the Luna Heights Hotel.
Vincent was setting up a chessboard when he glanced up and saw him. He grinned, "Well, look who's glowing. Something good happen?"
Elliot tossed his suit jacket onto a nearby chair and grabbed a bottle of cold water from the fridge. He took several big gulps, trying to wash away the faint creamy aftertaste still lingering. But the soft touch when his lips brushed her fingers—yeah, that sensation wasn't going away anytime soon.
At least Charisse had some conscience; she still remembered he liked sweets. Just that thought made his mood shoot up a few levels.
He slumped onto the couch, loosened his tie. "Clayton is planning to hit up Dustin."
