As Hazel was leaving for work, she noticed that Logan seemed anxious. He said he had to meet a client urgently and might not be back from City B until the next morning.
"Logan, let me come with you," Hazel pleaded.
"No, it's a very important meeting. I won't be able to spend time with you, and your business dinner will complicate things even more," Logan replied.

Shivering slightly, she wrapped her jacket tightly around herself and got into her car.
