Chapter 94 The Woman in Red

The second session of the photoshoot went by smoothly. After changing into a short, simple white dress, I met Nicholas in the courtyard. He was already there, standing casually in a crisp white dress shirt, sleeves rolled up just enough to make him look effortlessly put-together.
The photographer explained the concept for this session: we were supposed to run hand in hand, as though we were escaping from something—lovers on the run. Dramatic, I know.
Nicholas leaned in as the photographer gave us instructions and whispered, “If we’re supposed to be running away, does that mean we’ve robbed the castle?”
I stifled a laugh, shaking my head. “Stop it. You’re going to make me laugh during the photos.”
“Isn’t that the point?” He smirked, clearly pleased with himself.
We ran through the courtyard as the camera clicked rapidly, our hands clasped, laughter spilling from my lips despite my best efforts to stay serious. This session was easy enough—no intimate poses, no awk
