AUBREY'S POV
"Keep your back straight, shoulders relaxed," Caroline instructed as I practiced the traditional pack greeting for what felt like the hundredth time that day. The morning sun streamed through the large windows of the pack house's formal dining room, which had been cleared for our lessons. My feet ached in the heels Luna Grace insisted I needed to master.
"Better," Rose nodded approvingly from where she stood near the antique sideboard. "Now try it again, but remember—you're not just greeting them as Aubrey. You're greeting them as their future Luna."
I suppressed a sigh and repeated the motion, trying to channel the grace and authority these women made look so effortless. The silk of my practice dress whispered against the hardwood floor as I moved.
"Much better!" Luna Grace beamed from her seat at the head of the table. Despite the early hour, she looked immaculate in her pale blue dress, her silver hair perfectly styled. "You're a natural, dear."
