CHAPTER III - 16

Cassie kept tossing from one end of the bed to another. She was shaking violently with her eyes shut. It was as if she was wrestling with someone just that her eyes were shut and the person she was wrestling with was not there with her. It was midnight. Lord Romeo was earlier lying next to her but had gotten up to use the restroom. Cassie sprung out of bed with a scream. Lord Romeo heard her scream so he rushed out of the restroom to meet her. Cassie sat on the bed staring at the blank wall. It was as if she had seen a ghost. She just had a terrible nightmare. When Lord Romeo walked into the bedroom, he met her sweating profusely looking lost. He rushed to her side and took her into his arms. "What's the matter my, love?" He placed his left palm on her forehead and also felt her cheek with his palms. "You are on fire." He ran to the bathroom and returned with a towel. "Give me a minute," he said and pulled an ice pack from the refrigerator. He placed the ice pack on her forehead
