Benedict watched in horror, rage surging through him at the sight of Wendy bleeding on the floor. Eyes blazing, he roared, "Stop it right now!"
He lunged forward, raising a hand to strike Kaia with enough force to leave permanent damage.
Kate instinctively leaped between them. "Mr. Larson, you can't! If Kaia's injured, the engagement with Mr. Fenton will be ruined!"
"Get out of my way!" Benedict shouted, grabbing a heavy potted plant off the coffee table, aiming it directly at Kaia's head. Clearly, he had no compassion for his own daughter. Every blow he aimed at her was meant to kill.
Kate stubbornly stood her ground, shielding Kaia with her body, desperate to prevent Benedict's attack.
Meanwhile, Kaia's rage was unstoppable. She kept slamming the ashtray down on Wendy's head until Wendy's hair was matted with blood.
Panicked, Samuel rushed forward to pull Kaia away. "How long are you going to keep this up, you lunatic?"
Kaia whipped around, hurling the ashtray straight at Samu
