The echoes of the police station's walls seemed to linger in my mind as I left, the weight of Bruce's
escape still heavy on my shoulders. After the chaos at the law firm and my encounter with Timothy, I was eager to leave it all behind and return to the comfort of my own home.
As I stepped out of the station, the cool evening air was a welcome relief, but I was far from prepared for what awaited me.
