Alexander shook his head quickly. "Nah, I'm good. Watching you eat is enough entertainment for me."
"Tsk, you're just being picky. Look down on street food much?"
But hey, everyone's got their own lifestyle. A pampered young master like Alexander? Of course he'd stay away from roadside stalls.
Honestly speaking, Elizabeth had never really tried street food either—at least not before Lucas threw her out of the house.
She didn't push it though. Just took a juicy bite of the lamb skewer and sipped her beer. With the night breeze blowing, she felt amazing. This—this was exactly the kind of life she wanted. Real. Relaxed. Down to earth.
Seeing her enjoy herself like that, Alexander couldn't help but smile a little.
"Here, let me peel some shrimp for you."
He pulled on a pair of disposable gloves and started working on the prawns.
Watching him fumble over the shrimp, Elizabeth felt... weirdly moved. She blurted out, "Do you even know how to run a company?"
