Alec’s POV. I had just finished a game of golf with my father-in-law, Mr. Jordan. It wasn't my first time on the golf course, but I couldn't claim to be a professional by any means. Golf had never been my sport of choice, but I understood its significance to Mr. Jordan, and out of respect, I gave it my best effort. Contrary to what Alana had said about her father's lack of emotion, I found Mr. Jordan to be a decent golf partner. He might not have worn his heart on his sleeve, but he displayed enough personality to make our game enjoyable. After all, there had to be more to him than met the eye, considering the fact that Mrs. Jordan, his wife, was one of the sweetest and most loving women I had ever met.
