No way. She looks so.. frail. And the only smells that ooze off her is vanilla and chocolate chip cookies. There's no underlying of wolf stench. "No," I reply slowly. "I'm not."
"Road trip?" She inquires politely.
I nod. "Yeah. We decided to take a trip for the summer rather than sitting around."
"Oh, that's nice," She smiles. "Where are you guys headed now?"
"Sun Valley." I answer without missing a beat. She's nothing more then a harmless lady. That's what the rational side of my brain argues but I'm still on guard as she frowns.
"Really?"
I nod, again. "Yes."
"That's where all the slaughtering of the wolves have been." She comments. My heart drops and my mouth feel like it's full of cotton as I stare at her.
