Aria's POV
After Thomas stormed out, a weird tension hung over the entire mansion. Even Lucy was smart enough to hide in the kitchen instead of asking about lunch plans.
I looked at Aiden, noticing the tight set of his jaw. Part of me wanted to tell him that despite everything, Thomas was still his uncle, his blood.
Did they really need to push things this far? But I stopped myself. This was his family matter, not mine to meddle in.
When he caught me staring, he asked, "Do you have any questions?"
Instead of voicing my curiosity, I gave him a gentle smile. "If you want to tell me, you will."
