"Prescott, you're hurting me! Let go, now!"
Camila winced-his grip was brutal. No doubt her wrist would be bruised by morning.
"That's the point," Prescott growled through clenched teeth, his face dark and stormy.
He wasn't letting up the pressure one bit.
"Don't push it." Camila's face flushed red with anger. She had no idea what she'd done this time to set him off. He always seemed ready to blow for no reason.
"Too much already?" Prescott sneered, stepping in closer, the corners of his mouth lifted in that icy smirk. "Buckle up. It's only going to get worse."
Without giving her a second to react, he swung her off the ground and into his arms.
