Chapter 312
Prescott Ellington was just about to leave his study when his phone suddenly started ringing. It was Beckett Fraser. Judging by the time, he should’ve just landed.
He picked up. “Fraser, are you there yet?”
“Sir, not yet. The flight had some issues—mechanical failure. We had to make an emergency landing at J Country’s capital airport. I probably won’t get to you until tomorrow,” Fraser explained, sounding a little worn out.
“You’re not hurt, are you?” Prescott walked over to the window, his sharp brows furrowed in concern.
“I’m fine. The pilot caught it in time and handled it well. We landed safely—no one got injured,” Fraser answered, clearly picked up on Prescott’s worry.
“That’s good to hear. You don’t need to stress about my side—Camila’s with me now, I’m doing fine. No need to rush. Get in touch with Filian, the local director. He’ll help you coordinate another flight. As for what caused this… I’ll have someone get to the bottom of it.” Prescott’s tone turned colder toward the end
