Camila sat on the couch and, once again, couldn't help but pull out her phone to dial Prescott's number.
Same result.
Out of service.
Her nerves were shot. A million horrible thoughts raced through her mind. What if something had happened to him?
She got up and headed to the study. Time to practice her calligraphy. Focusing on her strokes was the only way to calm the storm in her chest.

Meanwhile, at the Fletcher residence-
Emma had returned from Camila's place and now stood at Jared's door, food container in hand, pacing back and forth. She'd raised her hand to knock more than once but kept lowering it.
Honestly, she really didn't want to deal with him.
If it weren't for Camila, she wouldn't be here.
After that day at the hot springs, Jared had gone off on her.
Complaining that her outfit was too revealing, scolding her like she was a kid, and demanding she never wear anything like that again.
