Chapter 92
Camila's thoughts felt like they flashed by in slow motion, but in reality, it was barely a second.
Her thumb swiped across the screen as she hastily dialed 911.
The black Audi was gaining fast, its headlights slicing through the darkness toward her.
"Yes, I'm near Station Road, about ten kilometers from the XX Military Compound. Get here quick! I don't know how many there are-they've got a sniper, and heavy artillery..."
Her voice wasn't loud, but it was enough to let Fenrir know she was still alive.
"She's not dead!"
"She didn't get hit? Are you serious? The sniper missed? Fenrir actually missed?!"
Inside the Audi, the two men gawked, disbelief written all over their faces.
"Shut up." Fenrir's voice cut cold and flat, like a knife edge.

And this woman-Camila-was making him feel something he rarely did: genuine, blinding rage.
He was going to make sure she didn't walk away again.
Fenrir steadied himself behind the scope
