Elaine looked behind her, only to see Skylar walking toward her from a short distance away. Right now, she couldn't trust this man at all. Speedily, she ended the call with Marcus and then found Joseph's number. With her finger hovering over the call button, she was prepared. Then, she frowned and asked, "Were you following me?" She remembered that Skylar barely came to this restaurant in the past, whether it was for business meetings, social meetings, or the occasional catch-up with his friends. It hadn't even been half an hour since she arrived here. She refused to believe that she'd bump into him so coincidentally just as she walked out of the private room. Skylar continued approaching her. When there were only a few inches left between the two of them, she took a step back as her way of resisting him. "Just say what you have to say.
