"Thanks, Mr. Richard. I won’t bother with a gift then. I have some other matters to attend to," Griffin Gardner quickly said, relieved by Richard's compromise.
"But the damage to his restaurant hasn't been settled, right?" Maxen Richard interjected, causing Griffin's face to change again. It seemed getting Richard to leave The Gardner wouldn't be so straightforward after all.
"In that case, The Gardner will compensate for the losses," Griffin suggested.
"Felix Cooper isn’t short on money," Richard responded with a chuckle.
"What do you suggest we do, then?" Griffin asked.
"It's simple. I brought quite a few people today; let's just smash up The Gardner's villa."
"What?!" Griffin exclaimed in anger.
"Heh, Mr. Richard, I think one smashing might not be enough for Mr. Cooper. After The Gardner repairs it, we should smash it again. That should be about right," Henry Carson suddenly suggested with a light laugh.
