That slap carried all the fury I had held back—and I didn't hold anything back this time. Teresa staggered backward from the force of it.
Just as I was about to land another hit, one of the parents suddenly yanked my hair and slammed me hard onto the pavement. The rest of them rushed in like a pack of wolves, kicking and punching without mercy.
One of them insulted, "You low-class piece of trash—how dare you lay a hand on Mrs. Fraser? Are you tired of living?"
"Seriously? Your little bastard isn't even dead yet. Why the hell are you in such a rush to dive into your grave?"
Another chimed in, "Being taught a lesson by Mr. Fraser is a privilege for your garbage kid. With a mother like you, no wonder she turned out to be such a disgrace. If she dies, it's what she deserves!"
