Quarrel? Why would Alex want to quarrel with a doctor? Alex turned to look at Clara in confusion. However, he only saw her getting out of the car. It seemed she was still mad at Alex because she didn't open the car door for him. Instead, she strode over to the main door and greeted her friend. While it was true that Alex often squabbled with his sister and teased her, he felt anxious when he was with strangers—what more a doctor. Everyone in his family knew that Alex was the most afraid of seeing doctors. So, he just stayed in the car, observing for a bit. He wanted to delay meeting the doctor as much as possible. Clara chatted with her friend for a long time before realizing that Alex was still waiting in the car. She glared at him as she walked over to the car and waved at him, telling him to come down. Alex inhaled deeply, readjusted the smile on his face, and reached for the door handle. He had only just touched the handle when the door was suddenly opened from the outside.
