"Crash!" Sounds of something being smashed came from the bedroom.
Worrying for Abigail's wellbeing, Clinton hurriedly rushed in.
In the room, Madeleine was standing in a corner, broken bowl under her feet.
"She doesn't have any good intentions. She wants to harm me. It's so hot!" Abigail exclaimed angrily, her eyes reddened. "Clinton, she wants me to die."
Madeleine lowered her head numbly, her hands concealed behind her back.
The bowl of quinoa porridge was spilled all over her hand, and it had gotten scalded. The scorching pain was almost unbearable.
"Madeleine, if you continue to be cunning, I'll kick you out of the house." Clinton always trusted Abigail's words, disdainfully gazing at Madeleine and comforting Abigail in his embrace.
Madeleine had already become numb and didn't care about their public display of affection in front of her because she didn't love anymore.
She still remembered how this man had personally sent her to jail and the heart-wrenching pain she felt five years
