"I didn't think you'd actually show up." Stanton looked genuinely surprised, like Beckett setting foot on that boat wasn't even in the realm of possibility for him. "You know the second you got here, there was no way I'd let you walk off."
"You had my mom killed. We've got unfinished business," Beckett said flatly, patting young Terrell on the back. "The kid's innocent. Put him on the lifeboat, have someone get him home safely."
But Stanton didn't budge—not even a twitch.

One of Stanton's bodyguards pulled a gun, pointing it straight at Beckett.
