Beckett showed up with Reuben Brooks. Reuben took one look at Robert's condition and gave him a quick exam. "You really need to get to a hospital." He glanced over at Beckett. "Head to mine, it's safer there." Beckett turned to Robert. "Rachel met with that guy. He's losing his cool." The man had planned to play Rachel, but since she and Robert were a thing, that just made him more desperate to eliminate Robert as a potential threat. Robert gave a slight nod. With Reuben and Beckett on either side, they helped Robert out of the villa. Vilma tagged closely behind, clearly worried. "Stay home," Robert told her, wanting her to stay put. Vilma shook her head. "I can help take care of you." Seeing her red-rimmed eyes, Robert felt his guard drop for a second—for some reason, he gave in. Maybe, deep down, he just wanted her around too. In the car, Robert deliberately laid his head on Vilma's lap. She didn't say a word, just looked down at him quietly. "Does it still hurt?" Robert kept silent.
