Chapter 65

My hand snatches out, forcefully yanking her hand down to her side and I kick her legs out from under her and Anfisia falls to the ice. Her hand reaches out and grabs a hold of my shirt, dragging me down with her. My wolf growls inside me and I feel my body start to act on instinct. We slam to the ground side by side but I'm ready, grabbing her arms, I roll us until I lay over her. Pinning her arms to the ice, I use my weight to keep her legs down. Anfisia struggles underneath me, bucking her hips and thrashing around. She growls in rage, spit splattering across my chest. My wolf pushes forward and snarls right back, I feel the power, the authority behind it. The Alpha female in my body. The Luna. Anfisia lays still underneath me, a shrewd grin spreading quickly over her face. "I didn't think you could do it." I shove down on her body once more, the anger still coursing through me blood before I roll onto my back, laying next to her.
