Chapter 30 A New Dawn
By the time the school term was on, other changes that had been initiated earlier seemed to yield positive results. The school tenure so too had a good-spirited upswing as new projects had to be embarked on and more sectors had to be opened for improvements. It actually turned out that choosing not to grow at the detriment of the quality of our educational system was the right move. Staff members perceived more support, students’ participation enhanced, and parents also experienced a closer interaction with the school and its goals.
This is some of the developments that had been executed last year: One of the most enjoyable activities that the students had embarked on was the start up of the community garden project. Some of the core values include; It became our pride to have the garden area as a depiction of commitment to sustainable practices and accountable learning. Children of different classes chose the seeds and then grew different vegetables and herbs in the school compound.
