"Grandma, it's time to remove Ms. Leary's needles."
Miles finally broke the silence. He didn't care whether the acupuncture had run its full course; he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and convince his grandmother to stop meddling in Ana's affairs.
Dorothy snapped back to attention. Ever diligent, she glanced at her watch. "There are still five minutes left."
Miles sighed, resigned to wait.
