Chapter 1283 Jenny's Plans Falling Apart

"What happened between you and Brody Clinton?" the police officer asked. "20 years ago, I dated him and got pregnant unexpectedly. I planned to marry him and give birth to the baby, but I didn't know that he was a married man. "When I found out about that, the baby was already too developed to be aborted. I had no choice but to give birth to her," Jenny said, wearing a pitiful expression. "What happened afterward?" the police officer implored. "After that, I gave her up for adoption. But a few years ago, her adoptive parents gave her up, and she took my family name," Jenny explained, leaving out the details. "Do you know why they gave her up?" the police officer asked next. In the system, nothing was mentioned about the Harringtons adopting Carrie. So, the police had no idea what had transpired. Hesitantly, Jenny replied, "That's because they found their real daughter."
