Chapter 191 Demi's Retaliation

Demi stood by her desk and scanned the room. "Who did this?" she demanded, her voice low but firm. A few students glanced at her with varying expressions before returning to their business, while others stole secret looks. Demi's eyes narrowed as if she were spreading a net across the room. "Who did this?" she repeated, louder this time. "We did it. So what?" In unison, three girls and two boys turned around, trying to appear nonchalant. For a split second, their faces betrayed a flash of regret for speaking up—but they would never know it was Demi's sharp perception that had forced their reaction. With a slight, disarming smile, she swept her gaze over the five of them and strode purposefully toward the two girls at the front. Before they could react, she grabbed them by the collars and dragged them toward the back of the classroom. "What's your problem?" Valerie Tyson protested as Demi grabbed her by the collar. "Demi, what are you doing? Are you planning on picking a fight?"
