Chapter 1092
Observing Pierette, who remained oblivious to her mistake, Sherese shook her head and let out a cold laugh. "You're truly beyond redemption, Pierette. If you had stayed with the Moreaus, you could at least rely on my mother and live out the rest of your days in peace. But if you insist on returning to Leafdelle Island, so be it." With nonchalant ease, Sherese snatched a nearby pillow and forcefully hurled it in Pierette's direction. "Go back and seek your own demise."
At this point, even if Sherese wanted to intervene, Pierette's location had already reached the island. It appeared that regardless of the circumstances, Pierette had no choice but to return to the island.
"I have no objections if you choose to go back and face your own death. However, you must never divulge my identity or existence to anyone." Sherese's countenance turned icy as she fixed a piercing gaze upon Pierette. "If you dare breathe a word about my true self, I will ensure you suffer a fate far worse than death."
Pierette looked at Sherese's expression and deliberately lowered her head. There was a chill in her gaze, sending shivers down her spine. Fear crept into her heart, and she attempted to appease Sherese with a smile. "Rest assured, I will not utter a syllable about your connection to the Duvals."
Sherese clenched her teeth.
Although she did not believe a single word Pierette said, she had no choice but to accept the reality for now.
It was an undeniable fact that Pierette would return to the Savatiers. Sherese only hoped that Pierette would remember her words for a little while longer.

Unbeknownst to both of them, Juliette had arrived at the Moreau mansion at this moment. She furrowed her brows as she awaited word from the Moreaus. Never in her wildest dream would she imagine that Pierette would be connected to the Moreaus.
'Camille Moreau… Isn't she supposed to be Rickard's wife by name?'
The world could be incredibly small, as it turned out that the Mureau mansion had been Pierette's hiding place all these years.
After receiving the news that Juliette was there, Camille hastily stepped out and saw Juliette scrutinizing the Moreau mansion outside of the gate with a furrowed brow. She respectfully greeted her and said, "Ms. Savatier, I didn't expect your sudden visit today."
Although the woman before her seemed amiable, anyone who came from Leafdelle Island deserved utmost caution, so Camille did not dare to slight her.
She was unaware of Pierette's true identity and simply exercised prudence as she looked at the woman before her and asked, "Ms. Savatier, is there any important matter that brings you here this time?"
"You don't know?"
Juliette thought Camille would be fully aware of Pierette's identity, so she was somewhat surprised to see Camille's bewildered and cautious expression. "Pierette is my eldest sister, and we received a letter from her yesterday."
"A letter?"
Camille furrowed her brows as she gazed at Juliette, noticing the resemblance between her and Pierette.
In an instant, she made the connection to Pierette's true identity and felt a tinge of anxiety. "I was unaware of this matter."
Upon observing Camille's expression, Juliette realized that she was genuinely oblivious to the matter at hand. Despite having seen Camille's face on numerous occasions and being acquainted with it, Juliette could not shake off the feeling of unfamiliarity that lingered within her.
"Anyway, I need to see Pierette now," Juliette said.
Camille nodded and instructed her men to escort Pierette to meet Juliette while she went to see Sherese. As she was halfway there, Camille suddenly remembered the gaze Juliette had directed at her earlier. It was a gaze filled with surprise and a hint of familiarity.
Then, it suddenly struck her.
'Isn't Hesper using my face on the island?'
With that realization, a grim expression crossed Camille's face. She hurriedly made her way to Sherese's room, only to be informed that Sherese had gone to find Pierette.
"Oh no." Camille muttered under her breath. "Sherese bears a striking resemblance to her mother. If anyone from the Savatiers see her, they would likely recognize her at a glance."
