"Samantha, I really feel like it's unfair of me to ask you to be with me," Xander said quietly after contemplating for some time. He slowly lowered his head, sounding aggrieved. Hearing Xander's disjointed words, Samantha raised an eyebrow, her heart suddenly aching. "Don't say that. Being with you makes me very happy. I don't feel wronged at all." Xander's once dim eyes suddenly lit up. "Really?" Seeing Xander's cautious expression, Samantha felt bad. "Of course. Why would I lie to you?" With that, she stood on her tiptoes. Smiling, she planted a soft kiss on Xander's cheek. "Don't overthink it. Let's go." Samantha got into the car first and patiently waited in the passenger seat. Suddenly, a loud crash echoed behind Xander. He paused and turned around to see what was happening. To his surprise, he came face-to-face with Joseph when he turned around. On the ground lay a high-end wristwatch, shattered into pieces. Joseph stood there, unmoving and staring daggers at Xander. Hi
