Jeremy didn't have many demands when it came to where he lived. This apartment that he had bought had been a fully-furnished, ready-to-move-in one. If Melody felt that redecorating the place could give her some emotional satisfaction, then he wouldn't object to it. There were also new covers for the couch, new mats for the coffee table, and even the air-conditioning remote received a new protective cover. By the time Jeremy finished his work and stepped out of the study, the whole living room had changed from the initial cool-toned aesthetic to a soft, creamy one.
