Melody's words were in direct rebuttal to what Jeremy had said earlier. He was staring at her when his gaze suddenly froze. Out of nowhere, a peculiar feeling rose in his chest, making him mildly annoyed and nervous. At the sight of him remaining silent, she lowered her gaze and led Tiffany away. With a sigh, Tiffany said, "Mel, you should've grown a spine. Krystal is always on her high horse, thinking that she's the best. "Good grief. Nurses and doctors are equals. It's not like she's my superior. What a pain in the butt." "Don't clash with her," came Melody's response. "Just stay away from her if you have to." Krystal was the apple of Andrew and Laura's eyes. Denvin might've returned, but they didn't neglect to ask him to pull some strings to help Krystal's medical career. If they learned that someone was targeting Krystal in the hospital, they would resort to anything necessary to back her up. The last thing Melody wanted was for Tiffany to be in their crosshair.
