While Hugh and Emma were talking, his phone suddenly rang. He answered immediately. "Ron, I'm at school." Emma could not hear what Ron was saying, but she heard Hugh say, "What's so strange about me coming to school today? I just happen to be interested in the girl who came to my house a few days ago to apply for a tutoring job." Hugh paused and added, "It's quite a coincidence; she happens to be our junior. So, I came early to see if she needed my help." Emma was not interested in their affairs. So, while Hugh was on the phone, she quickly dragged her suitcase and walked away. Hugh spoke again, "By the way, I heard that the arranged fiancée your family chose for you is also a new student at our school. When are you bringing her out for us to meet?"
