Dominic's name rolled off his tongue with a weird kind of tone. Louise glanced over at him, the corner of her mouth twitching, but she didn't say a word. After he guided her into the car, Robert walked around to the driver's seat and got in. Louise leaned her head against the window, her misty eyes gazing blankly at the road ahead. "I don't wanna go home. Just drop me off anywhere." That so-called home still had Grace waiting to stir up drama every day-she'd had more than enough of that. Robert gave her a sideways glance. Instead of taking her to the Ellis house or a hotel, he just kept driving. The car slipped past the third ring road, and then farther still. By the time he finally pulled over, Louise was already out cold in the passenger seat. He parked the car and stayed still for a moment, quietly watching her sleep. Even in her dreams, she seemed to feel his gaze-her brows furrowed a little, and she curled in on herself. A second later, she was covered with a jacket still warm fro
