Chapter SIXTY FOUR

"Remember what?" Jessica asked confused.   "You really do not remember?" Xavier asked studying her face. "Now I am very hurt that you do not remember"   "Did I lose some memories?" Jessica asked looking into the blank space.   "I can't believe you have forgotten when you were the one who suggested it," Xavier said.   A wave of remembrance washed over her. She remembered how she wanted to be in a comfortable position with him and suggested that they become friends. His attitude did not make it easy for them.   He had given her one hurdle after another every time she thought of being close to him. Was he blaming her for them not being friends? He was the reason she could not be in the same space with him.   She remembered the encounter yesterday and how he had handled it. She was supposed to be mad at him but seeing how well he handled the police case and brought her here to take her kind what was going on with her she decided not to bring it up. It would do the both of them no good.   "
