Chapter 133: Elaine Encounters Wesley

Elaine had been staying home all day recently, focusing on her studies and not venturing out at all. With Katrina and Daniel reconciling, there was no chance of Elaine meeting them anytime soon. Even though I just got home and stripped off my clothes, if you need me, I'll rush over to you even if I'm butt-naked." Beta: .... Who cares if you're dressed or not. "Don't be cheeky. I wanted to ask, are you living with Elaine?" Beta inquired. Sifan glanced at Elaine and replied, "Yeah, why? Do you need something from her?" Then, he switched to speaker mode. "Could you ask Nora if she's available for a job? I need her to design a wedding dress for me, and we can negotiate the price." Beta said. Elaine gestured at herself, silently asking Sifan, "Me?" In a city full of fashion designers, why did Beta specifically want her? But Sifan was more concerned about something else. He asked Beta, "Are you getting married?" Beta immediately denied, "Of course not!" She just wanted Elaine to design a wedding dress for Bella. Seeing Bella wearing the wedding dress designed by Elaine on her wedding day to Wesley would surely make Elaine give up on Wesley completely. "Ask Nora if she's willing to take on this job. Beta smiled when she saw the message and replied: 【Keep up the good work.】 Sifan scheduled the meeting for the weekend since he didn't know who the bride was or how busy she was. It seemed like a safe choice. Saturday arrived. Beta called Bella to her company first before dragging Wesley along to get measurements. The car had four people: Beta driving, Sifan in the passenger seat, and Bella and Wesley in the back. Sifan, unaware of Wesley and Elaine's relationship, kept praising them as a perfect couple throughout the ride, trying to lighten the mood. Bella was polite and gentle, responding to Sifan's remarks. As for Beta and Wesley, they remained mostly silent throughout the journey, without much to say. When they arrived at the designated location, Sifan escorted the three of them inside. Meanwhile, Elaine had arrived early and heard the door open. She slowly lifted her head. To her surprise, it was Wesley and Bella! Wesley was dressed sharply in a suit, and his burgundy tie matched Bella's red dress perfectly. They looked very compatible standing together. Moreover, Elaine could tell that Bella was a nice girl at a glance. "Long time no see, Miss Nora." Beta greeted Elaine first. Elaine withdrew her gaze from the couple and shook hands with Beta. Elaine didn't respond and sat down with Bella, saying, "Please tell us about the style and requirements you want." Upon hearing this, Beta brought Wesley to Bella's side and said, "As the groom, you should also voice your preferences, don't just leave everything to the women." The scent of a man suddenly filled the air, causing Elaine's heart to skip a beat for a moment. "I don't have any preferences. I'll leave it all to Bella." Wesley replied calmly. Bella blushed a little and turned to Elaine, saying, "My fiancé is a bit reserved, so please don't mind his coldness towards you." Elaine nodded and said to Wesley and Beta, "If you don't have any specific requests, please wait on the side. I'll discuss the details with the bride." "Then please take care of our Bella, Miss Nora." Beta said before dragging Wesley outside to wait. Wesley's face looked very bad, and Beta knew why, but she still thought her arrangement today was excellent. "Shall we have something to eat while we wait?" Sifan suggested, already bringing out some drinks from inside. Wesley looked at Sifan and asked, "You're familiar with this place?"
