Chapter26:Trouble in Paradise

“ It's time for you to get released from here Lucy.”    Mara stares at Kayden as he undoes the leash that we had been bound to for a week now. She is not as excited as she was to see Kayden. She regards him differently now.    There is a little crowd around and honestly, it irritates both of us that pack members can be here to watch the ordeal like it's some historical event.    Finally, free dad is the first to rush near us. And the moment he tries to get near Mara she growls at him. She doesn't need any help.
