Chapter33:Questions

Lucy       “ What rumors?” I ask just to be sure.    It seems like there are a lot of stories circulating about me that even I am not aware of.    “ That you are working with rouges.” He presses.    I roll my eyes, “ don't roll your eyes at me!” He snaps as he fists his large palm.    “ Okey alpha,” I drag out his name deliberately.    He narrows his eyes into slits and I give him a nervous smile.    “ I ain't working with any rouges besides I told you the reason why I was visited by one the last time,” I say quietly.    The memory still hurts, Stacy is the best friend I will ever have and now she hates and blames me for how life turned upside down.    He runs his fingers through his hair.
