(Scarlett's POV) Alexander completely disregarded my warning and barged into my treatment center. The doors to my treatment center flew open with a loud crash, startling both the staff and the patients. The air was thick with his overbearing arrogance and misplaced dominance. I rolled my eyes. He hadn't even bothered to hide his aggression. Of course, he wouldn't. He never did. Ignoring his disruptive entrance, I calmly continued reviewing the shipment records on my desk. The muted murmurs of the staff at the reception desk reached my ears, their unease palpable. “Scarlett!” Alexander's voice boomed across the hall, heavy with demand. With an exasperated sigh, I stood and made my way toward the main hall of the center. The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he was spoiling for a fight. His amber eyes blazed, and his wolf Mason practically radiated fury beneath his skin. “What an entrance,” I drawled, my tone dripping with sarcasm. “Using those doors like they owe you money?” Alex
