(Scarlett's POV) Fury radiated off Alexander in waves. His disheveled hair and the tension in his clenched fists were clear indicators of his foul mood. “You’ve got some nerve, Scarlett,” he spat. His eyes darted to the amulet still in my hand before locking onto mine, sharp and accusing. “You’ll do anything to get away from me and the Winters Pack, won’t you?” he sneered. “Seduce powerful Alphas, play the victim, and manipulate alliances?” I blinked, momentarily stunned by his audacity. “I beg your pardon?” “You heard me.” His voice rose, pressing each word with venom. “First Roman, now Nathan? Who’s next on your list of potential protectors? Or should I say pawns?” My shock quickly gave way to cold anger. Rising to my feet, I leaned forward on the desk, meeting his glare with one of my own. “You’ve really outdone yourself this time, Alexander. Is this what you’ve been stewing over lately? Fantasizing that I’m hopping from one Alpha to another?” “Don’t act innocent,” he snapped
