I was already asleep when Jon returned from his talk with Clayton, but I did remember that last night, he held me tighter than he ever had before. In the middle of the night when I woke up to use the bathroom, I had to push at him hard so that he would loosen his hold on me. He woke up before me in the morning, so I assumed that his talks had gone well and it was business as usual in the palace.
