"No. No. Don't give me that look. Don't pretend as if you care!!" I swung his hand away and took a few steps back. "So you knew. That was what you guys have been hiding from me. That was why you didn't love me. Because I'm a monster!!!" Did I just mention the word 'love'? "No, Dafina. It's not like this." Kayden took a step forward and I quickly backed away from him.
