There is something that I didn’t tell them. The day Cassidy and I died, Moon goddess gave us a chance to go back to our mate side. But Cassidy’s human self is already dead. The only way is to live in Cassidy’s heart. And hence, when her heart is being placed into Madelynn, Madelynn lives and also… me. However, there is a condition. Madelynn must accept me within a given time frame and hence, becoming a werewolf. The existence of werewolves is kept from humans. Therefore, werewolves are usually not mated to humans.
