Hannah Just as Noah and Zoe turned, I managed to slip back behind the corner and bolt away. My heart pounded in my throat as I scurried out of sight, my eyes darting back and forth in search of an escape. Their footsteps were approaching rapidly, and out of panic, I spotted a nearby water fountain and began to drink. A few moments later, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Straightening, I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and turned to see Noah standing behind me with one hand on his hip.
