Chapter26: Games

BELLA’S POV  I rolled my eyes and sighed. “It’s not your fault. I wish I could leave here as fast as possible too.” I mumbled as I walked over to the table to get ready for the day’s treatment.  If there was anything I wanted, it would be to deal with Gabriel quickly and escape the Castle with my son before Devon got hold of him. I hated to admit but I was starting to get scared.  I was still arranging my things when the thought of what Ariana said to me crossed my mind and I let out a deep breath.  “You can’t let Lord Devon discover your son, Bella. You must do whatever it takes to not let him get a hold of your son.” She said, her eyes pleading and filled with concern.  I let out a deep breath as I held her hand “That’s why he is here. I know I must protect my son but I have no means. You know how powerful Devon is and having Kaden with me in his quarter would only make him grab my son one day.” I closed my eyes, trying to keep my emotions under control.  “Why don’t you run away? You
