Jane did not understand why her ex-dormmate would insult her the moment they met. Was she really that revolting and repulsive?
She tugged at the corners of her lips lightly, forming a faint, tragic smile.
She gave Susie a wordless glance. That glance may mean nothing in particular at all, or it could also be a look of “recognition”. After turning around, Jane slowly limped out of Susie’s sight.
