Rick's POV: Rick's heart was racing as he waited for Lizzie to pick up the phone. He wasn't sure what to expect, but he knew he needed to talk to her. Finally, after the third ring, he heard her voice. "Hi," she said, sounding tired and a little hesitant. "Hi," Rick replied. "I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing."
