Chapter 28
Winter's lips curled into a smirk as soon as she heard someone gasp.
Apparently, Amelia didn't know how to whisk tea at all. She must've failed so miserably that her work stunned the person speechless.
But in the very next second, the same voice went on, astonishment evident in her voice.
"This is the finest froth I've ever seen!"
Winter froze, her expression souring. What kind of sick joke was this? This was impossible!
Flustered, Diana dragged Winter through the crowd until they reached the front. Then, they saw it clearly.
Amelia's tea froth was not just dense and long-lasting like Winter's, but she'd also made sure each bubble was nearly the exact same size, perfectly even and fine.
When Winter saw this, she stood frozen, her eyes wide in disbelief as if she'd just seen a ghost.
She'd trained in the art of brewing tea for years, outshining every socialite in Shelwick. Yet Amelia, a woman raised in the countryside, had produced a froth even more flawless than her own.
