CHAPTER FOURTEEN

As I laid sprawled on the cold floor , my consciousness went deep into darkness. Footsteps approached me whispering words of concerns and uncertainty. It must be the villagers who found me . I looked like a complete shadow of my entire existence, pale, bloody and lifeless. I was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment thanks to the villagers . “ We found her , can she be saved ?” One of the villagers asked , his voice laced with concern . The doctor looked a bit skeptical but still accepted me in . I was laid on the bed , my lifeless body not responding to the soothing bed behind me . The doctor immediately examined me , checking to see what was exactly wrong with me . He must have been tired after the diagnosis as his aura dropped rapidly . “ She might need surgery” he told the villagers outside the ward . They went quiet , scared that the amount would surely be billed on them . “ Is that really necessary? She can't be saved without surgery ?” One of them aske
