A heavy sigh escaped Tony's lips. Resigned, he glared at her for a moment and stopped pestering her about Donovan's case. He took out his phone and tapped around for a bit. "I just transferred you two million dollars," he said in a low voice. "It'll hit your account soon." Giselle gave a small snort. Only now did she vaguely remember that he was, after all, still her father. "Stop going against the Kane family," Tony warned, his expression dark. "I won't comment on your affair with Donovan—I don't have the time or patience. But you shouldn't have made a scene at the police station. "If things escalate, where does that leave the Kane family? Go withdraw the case now!" "You don't know a thing about the law, do you?" Giselle snapped. "Rape cases are criminal prosecutions—I can't withdraw them! "And the Kane family has plenty of ways to pull strings, anyway. He'll be out in just a few days. Why are you so anxious?" Seeing she wouldn't budge, Tony didn't bother arguing. "Suit y
