A Failure

Bella's POV: Hank continued, "I know Betty too well. She will push all the blame on others. It's all other people's fault, and she's not wrong at all." I retorted, "Hank, I don't allow you to talk about Betty like that. Don't forget that she's your wife!" Hank was silent for a moment, but he didn't argue with me. Instead, he said calmly, "Bella, you'll understand later. You'll know that I'm right." I was a little confused. Thinking back to what Betty said to me just now, I vaguely felt that Hank was right.
